Sakura Project,
Samalaju Industrial Park, Sarawak

Overview

The Sakura Project was a joint venture for the development of a smelter facility in Samalaju Industrial Park, Sarawak, Malaysia. The Project was a Greenfields project, producing high-carbon-ferro-manganese and silicon-manganese products.

 

The facility operates two 81MVA furnaces complete with raw material handling, storage, proportioning, feed systems, furnaces, gas cleaning, alloy casting, slag handling, product crushing, screening and stockpiling, and associated ancillaries.

 

Our Scope of works included: 

Final product area Steel structure and Conveyor erection of 80 Tons with Idlers & Pulley, Vibrating feeders, Motors installation and Belt pulling & splicing works.

 

  • Gas Cleaning Plant Steel Structure and Duct pipe erection of 170 Tons.

  • Raw material handling area Steel structure and Conveyor erection of 360 Tons with Idlers & Pulley, Vibrating feeders, Motors installation and Belt pulling & splicing works.

  • Plant Clinic and Training centre civil works of 1,780 meter square with all required doors, windows, tiles and Painting works.

  • Dryer Plant Conveyor Steel structure Fabrication, Blasting and Painting works of 100 Tons 

  • Dryer Plant Conveyor Steel structure erection of 120 Tons with Idlers & Pulley, Vibrating feeders, Motors installation and Belt pulling & splicing works.

  • Drying Plant Equipment Installation of 135 Tons.
